If you are raising animals with horns, or are an avid hunter, this is a great way to preserve a memory.

 Apart from cattle, he also offers his service for deer, bison, and other game.

Invoices are separate from butchering fees.

The Process

Step One:

First, skulls are skinned and a majority of the flesh is removed, as well as the brains and eyes. The skulls are then placed in the beetle enclosure. The skull is stripped of all flesh within 2-3 days.

Step Two:

When the beetles are finished, the skull is transferred into a bucket of hot, soapy water, and placed in an insulated environment to degrease. This process takes 3-5 weeks for deer skulls, longer for bear and hog skulls, which hold more grease and fat.

Step Three:

After degreasing, it's time to whiten the skull. A mixture of peroxide 40 and Basic White is lathered on the skull, wrapped in saran wrap, and placed in front of a heat source for 7 days. Then, the skull is rinsed off. If further whitening is desired, the skull is placed in direct sunlight for 1-2 days. Lastly, the skull is brushed with Mop-n-Glo to seal the bone, giving it a faint gloss and a clean, lemony scent.
